Texas · HB 2
Tiers of intensity support for Texas districts.
A 30-minute review of where your service documentation stands under the HB 2 intensity model. No software demo. You leave with a written summary and clear next steps.
An eight-tier model took effect September 1, 2026. 2026-27 is held harmless; tiers drive funding from 2027-28.
TEA figures only: $250M statewide added by HB 2. No other funding amounts on this page.
Why it matters to you
The tier a student is reported in depends on the services documented for them. Accurate, current service records make reporting easier and more defensible.
What this meeting is
A working conversation about your readiness.
We start with your questions, not our product.
What we'll look at together
We do not ask you to send student records before a DPA is in place. Bring summary counts or share your screen.
What you'll leave with
A one-page written summary.
Where your documentation is strong, the gaps to close before December 3, and questions to take to your PEIMS coordinator.
