Privacy Policy

How IEP Assure collects, uses and protects information.

This policy covers the IEP Assure website (iepassure.com) and the IEP Assure platform (app.iepassure.com), operated by IEP Assure, Inc. ("IEP Assure," "we," "us"). When a school district or charter contracts with us, student data in the platform is also governed by that district's Master Services Agreement and our Data Processing Addendum. If this policy and the Data Processing Addendum conflict, the Data Processing Addendum controls.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to support your experience with our website and platform, which may include:

  • Contact information you give us in a form (for example, name, title, school district or charter, work email and phone)
  • Account information for platform users (login credentials)
  • Usage data (site and platform interactions, feedback)
  • Student information (uploaded IEPs, accommodations, goals and service records) in the platform, only where a district has explicitly authorized it

The marketing website does not ask for or collect student information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve our platform
  • Respond to requests, such as a walkthrough request, a download or a support question
  • Send the resources and emails you asked for. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
  • Support legal and instructional compliance
  • Generate secure insights and recommendations for authorized users

3. FERPA and Data Security

IEP Assure is designed to be FERPA-compliant and acts as a "school official" for the districts we serve. We do not sell or share student data. All student information is encrypted, access-controlled, and handled only by authorized personnel. Our Data Processing Addendum describes these protections in full.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to understand how our website is used, to improve it, and to measure which of our ads lead to requests. These may include Google Analytics, and a Zoho CRM script that connects a website request to the Google Ads click that brought the visitor to our site. We do not use advertising cookies in the IEP Assure platform. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to run our website and platform, for example website hosting (Netlify), our customer relationship system (Zoho CRM), email (Mailchimp) and cloud hosting and storage. These services are bound by strict confidentiality and compliance terms. Services that process student data on behalf of districts are listed on our Sub-processors page.

6. Your Rights

You may request to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. For data removal or inquiries, email us at admin@iepassure.com. Requests about student records should go to the student's school district, and we will help the district respond.

7. Updates

We may occasionally update this policy. If changes are made, we will notify users and update the date at the top of this page.
